Event Reports

Thanks To All For BMR 2010!!!!!

Well, we started off to make what we believed to be the perfect motorcycle event and in its second year BMR was all that and more. BMR stands for Big Mountain Run in case you are just hearing about it for the first time and what our plan was laid out to be was a gypsy tour that ended in a hell of a party, our perfect event. We figured that if nothing else, we’d have a good time with our brothers in the woods of TN.  I could go on and tell you some of the sorted details but rather than that, I want you to check out what other people said already. We will have a full report in the September issue of Cycle Source but until then, here is the good stuff.

This year the run was perfect, we had Mike Lichter taking the killer shots on the road and at the party, (see some of his favorites here http://lichterphoto.blogspot.com/2010/05/lots-goin-on.html some old friends and some new ones, the brand new “Tramps Tri-Athalon” bike game was a hit. I’m sure by now you’ve seen Beanre’s video, if not, check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCIp_v0TkvI

In the middle of her 10,000 mile ride around America Alystar Mckenneh met up with us and wrote this killer article on Cyril Huze Blog http://www.cyrilhuzeblog.com/2010/05/26/riding-and-partying-the-way-it-used-to-be/

Rogue put a kick ass article togther for BikerNet.com and truly honored us with some big props. Love you brother. See it here http://www.bikernet.com/events/PageViewer.asp?PageID=3300

My good brother Cochise came out this year and he along with Fritz, JW, Tin Man, RA and a host of others, took over the porch of the bunkhouse and added commentary as necessary. He has always given me great support and he wrote a fantastic peice on his blog here http://cochisechops.blogspot.com/2010/05/rock-on.html

I gotta give out some love to all the boyz from the Haints cause they’re all suck bastards that party as hard as they ride and that rocks. See some of their pics here. http://haints69.blogspot.com/2010/05/few-more-bmr.html

Well, after the time we had, and of course the wonderful comments by folks that attended, we fell that this was more than our perfect event and we also feel like we owe some people a word of thanks. For starters, the great people at Hiawassee Outfitters, Chip and Melissa, Wayne at Wicked Willy Choppers, Dan and the Bullet Boys, all of which made it possible for us to do the event. Rogue, Mike Lichter and Cochise for making it real and adding a touch of class, Rob Keller and Knucklehead, all the bands, Charlie and our family from “American Motordrome” Midnight Mike, Beanre’ and last but not least all my brothers from the Limpnickie Lot for putting up and dragging all their stuff out to support it.

There’s so much more to say, but like I mentioned in the beginning, see it all in the September 2010 issue of Cycle Source Magazine!
