Rick Bray of RKB Kustom Speed walks through one of the wildest HSR giveaway builds you'll see, a compact Softail-based custom with gold wheels, orange flames, lowrider attitude, and just enough hot rod in every line. In this episode, Rick Bray breaks down how he turned a complete 1990s Softail into a clean, rideable custom that still hits hard. He talks through the found-bike origin story, the narrowed 100th Anniversary tank, the custom swingarm, the Pro-One front end, the S&S 96-inch motor rebuild, and the details that gave this bike its own identity. What really sets this one apart is how personal it is. From the stamped Torch Industries fenders that shaped the whole build, to the set of nine bolts tied to a lost friend's racing number, every choice means something. In this episode, Rick Bray breaks down how he turned a complete 1990s Softail into a clean, rideable custom that still hits hard. He talks through the found-bike origin story, the narrowed 100th Anniversary tank, the custom swingarm, the Pro-One front end, the S&S 96-inch motor rebuild, and the details that gave this bike its own identity.

What really sets this one apart is how personal it is. From the stamped Torch Industries fenders that shaped the whole build, to the set of nine bolts tied to a lost friend's racing number, every choice means something. A rare chopper with real history and sharp execution from front to back. In this feature, Irish Rich walks through the Chrome Nun in Sturgis, South Dakota, breaking down what makes this shovelhead build something special. At the core is a Jesse James frame from 2004, one of only two ever made. It blends a CFL rear section with an L Diablo front and is finished in nickel plating from Spark Chrome. The paint comes from Kurt Taylor, the motor was built by Hellbound Mike, and every inch of this bike reflects smart decisions and deep roots in chopper culture. Powered by a 79–86 shovel with a Baker 6-speed, magneto ignition, and a B carb on an Andrews B grind, this bike stays true to old-school style while pushing thoughtful fabrication.
