KYLE WYMAN SWEEPS KING OF THE BAGGERS AT LAGUNA SECA

RISPOLI CLAIMS TWO SUPER HOOLIGAN WINS

MILWAUKEE (July 13, 2025) – Kyle Wyman, riding for the Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Race Team, continued his impressive streak in the 2025 Mission King of the Baggers series. Wyman set a new lap record in qualifying, took first in the Mission Challenge, and won both main events at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Salinas, California. His #33 Harley-Davidson Road Glide has now delivered six wins in eight King of the Baggers races this year, giving him a solid 76-point lead in the standings.

Also at Laguna Seca, James Rispoli from KWR Harley-Davidson had a perfect weekend in the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship Presented By Roland Sands Designs and Powered by Harley-Davidson. Rispoli, on his Pan America 1250 ST, claimed pole position and won both races, marking his first victories in the series.

Wyman’s Double Victory in King of the Baggers

Kyle Wyman’s Triumph at Laguna Seca

Wyman laid down a new track record of 1:27.524 on the 2.238-mile Laguna Seca circuit, earning him pole on Saturday. He then grabbed the Mission Challenge dash for cash, finishing 1.741 seconds ahead of Factory Indian’s Loris Baz.

In Saturday’s eight-lap main race, Wyman and Hayden Gillim (RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson) led early, with Gillim moving ahead at Turn 7 on the first lap. The race was stopped due to oil on the track after Gillim’s bike had issues. On the restart, Wyman pulled ahead by half a second over Baz, Troy Herfoss (Factory Indian), and Rocco Landers (RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson). Baz and Herfoss fought for second while Landers stayed close. On the final lap, Herfoss tried to pass Baz in the Corkscrew, ran wide, and Landers slipped by for third. Wyman took the win, finishing 2.059 seconds ahead of Baz, with Landers just 0.083 seconds back in third, his first podium this year.

Sunday’s race saw Wyman grabbed the lead, but Gillim passed him in Turn 2. Herfoss and Baz stayed right on their tails. On lap 4, Bradley Smith (Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory) joined the fight. Smith and Baz swapped places several times, but both went off track on lap five. In the final laps, Gillim and Wyman had built a 3-second gap over Landers, who moved to third after Smith and Baz’s off. On the last lap, Gillim lost power in the Corkscrew, and Wyman surged past, winning by 1.449 seconds over Landers. Tyler O’Hara (Indian) finished third.

“Patience was everything today,” Wyman said, now holding a record 24 King of the Baggers wins. “Hayden’s been strong all weekend. Honestly, he should have been on the podium both days. I’m just so happy for the Harley-Davidson team. This season shows how hard work pays off. You just have to keep pushing.”

After eight of fourteen rounds, Wyman leads the King of the Baggers standings with 186 points. Baz sits second with 110, Herfoss has 104, O’Hara 86, Landers 77, Smith 76, and Rispoli 63.

Rispoli Sweeps Mission Super Hooligans Doubleheader

James Rispoli from KWR Harley-Davidson took two big wins as the team filled the podium both times in the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship Presented By Roland Sands Designs and Powered by Harley-Davidson. Rispoli set the fastest qualifying lap on Friday at 1:29.103, even with a red flag after Jake Lewis (Saddlemen Race Development) collided with Cody Wyman (KWR Harley-Davidson) on the front straight. Lewis, who led points going into the weekend, was injured and sat out the rest of the round.

On Saturday, series champ Cory West (Saddlemen Race Development) led Rispoli through the first two laps of the eight-lap race. West ran wide in Turn 3 on lap 3, and Rispoli grabbed the lead, building a 1.5-second gap by lap 6. Behind them, Cody Wyman and Hayden Schultz (both KWR Harley-Davidson) battled for third. Rispoli took his first Super Hooligan win, crossing the line 2.707 seconds ahead of West, with Cody Wyman third by just 0.263 seconds over Schultz. Travis Wyman (Saddlemen Race Development) finished fifth.

Sunday’s race kicked off with drama as Rispoli and Cody Wyman tangled in Turn 2, sending Wyman off track while Rispoli held on but dropped into the pack. West led the front group with Schultz, Travis Wyman, and Andy DiBrino (Competition Werkes Racing Triumph) close behind. Rispoli fought back, setting a new lap record of 1:28.455 on lap 2. By the end of lap 2, he was up to fifth, then passed DiBrino and Travis Wyman to take third by lap 4. West, Schultz, Rispoli, and Wyman ran closely in the closing laps. Rispoli moved past Schultz for second on lap 6 and swapped the lead with West twice on lap 7, finally making his move stick in Turn 11. West eased up on the final lap, and Rispoli held on for the win by 0.255 seconds, Schultz taking third just 0.441 seconds behind.

“Cody and I got tangled at the start, and I couldn’t move,” Rispoli said after his win. “Luckily, everything worked out. I pushed hard and made passes where I felt good. These guys are riding tough. It’s awesome to see Hayden on the podium too. Great day for KWR and Harley-Davidson.”

With two rounds left in the 10-race series, Cory West leads Super Hooligans points with 139, followed by Lewis at 123, Rispoli at 117, Travis Wyman at 110, and Cody Wyman at 96. The title will be decided August 15-17 at Permco MotoAmerica Superbikes at Mid-Ohio in Lexington, Ohio.
