I Tried

IMG_5745 When I did the post for the Cook’s Corner Blessing of the Bikes I thought it would be a great way to spend some QT with Duane on his bike and get a cool feature at the same time.

Well we headed out with my back pack full of goodies and off we went. The first thing that I should tell you is that California freeways are horrible and I should of taken this into account before I ponied up on that unforgiven rigid. We headed down the 15 and within three minutes we hit the first, didn’t see till you are right on it bump and the pain begins. I have one of the worst backs out there but I LOVE being on the back of Duane’s bike.

Three more bumps and I was toast. The pain surged to my neck  and I gave Duane that familiar tap on the helmet, this girl was done. So we stopped at Tom’s Farm, about fifteen minutes down the road. Please stop laughing.

My question to everyone is , how do these girls do it? Sitting on the fender of the bike with the smallest piece of leather between them? Or how about the one that wrap their legs around the guy’s waist. How did they do it in the 70’s? I guess I need to get my hands on a bitchin king and queen seat that would give me a lazy boy to sit on. Or it is just time to say goodbye to the back of Duane’s head and go to a class?

tomsfarm So here is my take on Tonm’s Farm. Tom’s Farm is a well known landmark for Southern California residents that has been in business since 1971. It is the place to ride your bike to, eat great food and experience music in a very laid back atmosphere. On any given weekend you will find a massive amount of motorcycles, any make and models. It is the best place around! Pull up and get yourself a made to order, huge breakfast burrito for about 4 bucks. Sit on the patio and kick back!
