Big News, Some Good – Some Bad
Okay so let’s get the bad news out of the way first. Crank County Daredevils will not be playing this year. Their drummer has a serious issue with his health and they have canceled all dates. We have plenty of other live acts that will fill the void in time but obviously not in our hearts. We wish their man the best in his recovery.
Now, on to the good news. World renowned photographer of Easyriders Magazine, ”Mike Lichter” will be joining us at Tilley Harley-Davidson to go on the entire Gypsy Tour to capture this time in photos. Please where your best shop shirt and comb your hair, yeah just like class photo day…… Hahahaha!
Also along for the ride will be Hall of fame member Biker Rogue. Rogue had such a blast with us last year he is coming in for round two. The story he wrote from 2009 will be on newsstands in May’s issue of In The Wind so check it out. Hey, and nobody sets off fireworks in the cabin where he is sleeping this year. Rogue carries a gun and if you bastards aren’t careful, someone might get shot!
Last but not least Jeff Cochran of Speed King will be paying us a visit at BMR. Jeff is sure to have one of his latest bad ass customs with him this year and with a back drop like the Smokey Mountains we can’t wait to see the pictures he gets.
All in all we are set for a blast that starts Tuesday Night at Wicked Willy Choppers for a pre-ride party. Wayne, (the owner) has invited all of us attending the BMR ride that leaves Tilley’s to come by his place the night before for a pre party with food, music and booze. He even has free camping for us. So, The Cycle Source group plans on being there about 6pm on Tuesday May 18th, as long as the Canadian’s are on time this year. You heard me Nanook, save the smokin’ for the Smokies!!! Hahahaha!
