We found him

sly1Remember this cat that scored a huge deal with Sly at the New Orleans Bike Week? Well after calling many important people we found MR. Lucky. His name is Jeremy Smith, who is the proud owner and operator of  Chaos Cycles, LLC . I had the opportunity to talk to him and he was still in awe that Stallone was interested in a local guys build. A big shout out should go Jay Allen, who talked Jeremy into bringing some of his builds to the Broken Spoke.

DSC00019 He  was born and raised south of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Jeremy ventures with building motorcycles began more than eight years ago as a hobby. All of the motorcycles that Smith builds are homegrown – put together either in his garage or built in a small shop and all are labors of love.

CIMG0706 Drag racing first attracted Smith into the world of bikes, racing the first bike he built at a local track. The success of that bike turned into requests from others at the track to work on their machines.

Picture 009After almost a decade, his first labor of love paid off when Sylvester Stallone purchased Smith’s “Chaos” to use in his film, “The Expendables,” which is currently being filmed in New Orleans. Smith’s company, Chaos Cycles, LLC was born. More information about Chaos Cycles will soon be available at www.chaoscycles.com

The 33-year-old and his wife, Amy, continue to live and work in the New Orleans area.
