From Burnouts to Buckcherry: Milwaukee’s Biggest Motorcycle Bash Does It Again
Milwaukee, WI (July 15, 2025) – If you were anywhere near Milwaukee the weekend of July 10-13, you probably heard the rumble. That was the sound of the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival 2025 taking over the city — and it didn’t disappoint.

The four-day event brought in riders from every corner of the country. They came for the bikes, the music, and the camaraderie that only Harley can deliver. From Veterans Park on the lakefront to the Harley-Davidson Museum, dealerships, and even the factory floor in Menomonee Falls, this city was packed with chrome, leather, and a whole lot of horsepower.
Chris Stapleton and Freestyle Chaos at Veterans Park

The main stage at Veterans Park lit up Saturday night with a powerhouse set from Chris Stapleton, playing to a sold-out crowd. He was joined by the likes of Turnpike Troubadours, Sierra Ferrell, and 49 Winchester, giving the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival 2025 a soundtrack worthy of its size.

Monster Energy’s Freestyle Motocross team cranked it up another level with death-defying jumps from legends like Axell Hodges and Takayuki Higashino. Friday’s show was cut short due to some nasty weather rolling through, but Harley did right by the fans — issuing full refunds for Friday day tickets and 50% back for two-day passes.
“Safety comes first — always,” said Theo Keetell, Harley’s VP of Marketing. “When weather threatens our riders and fans, we make the tough call to keep people safe.”
The Museum: Buckcherry and Burnouts
Over at the Harley-Davidson Museum, the action started early with a Military Appreciation Kickoff Party on Thursday. Buckcherry took the stage, setting the tone for the weekend. Over 32,000 folks walked through the museum’s doors, checking out everything from the Wall of Death stunt show to the V-Twin Visionary Custom Bike Showcase.
It was a real celebration of American motorcycle culture — past, present, and future.
Tour the Heart of the Beast in Menomonee Falls
Over at the Powertrain Operations plant, folks got a firsthand look at how Harley engines are born. The self-guided tours through machining and assembly lines were a hit, and best of all, riders had the chance to throw a leg over the 2025 Harley-Davidson lineup for free test rides. You don’t get that kind of hands-on experience every day.
History and Heart on Juneau Avenue

Back at the company’s original factory on Juneau Avenue, Harley-Davidson offered guided history tours. This spot’s where the dream began — and it was the perfect start line for the Women’s Ride, held in honor of the late Nancy Davidson, a true pioneer in the motorcycle world. The ride supported the Cancer Research Institute™ and brought out riders in droves.
Nearby at Davidson Park, folks kicked back with live tunes, an antique motorcycle show, and lawn games — a relaxing counterbalance to the full-throttle action elsewhere.
Dealerships Threw Down Too
Harley’s hometown dealers weren’t about to sit this one out. Six Milwaukee-area Harley-Davidson dealerships — including House of Harley, Uke’s, and Suburban Motors — threw their own events with live music, food, vendors, and test rides. The party stretched from Greenfield to Oconomowoc, and everywhere in between.
Looking Ahead: Harley Homecoming 2026
Couldn’t make it this year? Don’t sweat it. The Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival 2026 is already locked in for July 9-12, 2026. Word is, next year’s gonna be even bigger.
