This past Sunday I had the privilege of attending the Heroes Run chili cookout in Richmond, Va. The family and I started our journey from Charlottesville to Richmond on two wheels only to run into a downpour 10 miles out. With my wife being a beginner rider of only 4 months, the comfort level of riding her own bike an hour in inclement weather proved too much so we returned for the car. We arrived early to find Justin tending to the chili. It’s wasn’t long before the bikes began to rumble in. I was introduced to the other two thirds responsible for the heroes run charity Joe and Rudy. A trio of phenomenal humans.
