Daytona Bike Week 2011: Hot Bikes, Hot Parties, Hot Leathers

banner Daytona Beach Bike Week 2011 witnessed an influx of ecstatic bikers, hot parties, and an array of extraordinary bikes. This year’s celebration also proved a success for Hot Leathers, the industry leader in motorcycle apparel who is synonymous for offering the best selection of motorcycle merchandise in stores, online and on the road who managed to maintain a large presence during this year’s unprecedented rally.

One of their first stops of the 2011 rally season, Hot Leathers managed to stay very busy during the legendary ten day festival. Not only did they feature a number of impressive and strategically located booths where they showcased their premier products, Hot Leathers also acted as official merchandiser for the renowned festival.
Hot Leathers was also a presenting sponsor at this year’s fourth annual Seminole Hard Rock Roadhouse Biker Fusion event. One of the most attended charity events during Daytona Beach Bike Week, the fourth installment proved to be a colossal success. Motorcycle builders, industry elite and enthusiasts congregated at the Doghouse Bar and Grill on Main Street Daytona where they raised over $11,000 for Soldiers’ Angels. A volunteer-led non-profit that provides aid and comfort to active servicemen and women of the U.S. military as well as veterans and their families, Soldiers’ Angels go to great lengths to demonstrate care and concern for those who daily fight for our freedom and safety.
In addition to acting as presenting sponsor for the event, Hot Leathers also took the stage at one point to unveil the 2011 Motorcycles as Art exhibition theme and logo. Together with the Legendary Buffalo Chip and celebrated motorcycle artist and photographer, Michael Lichter, this year’s internationally renowned exhibit is entitled, "Slant Artist-An Eccentric View of Motorcycles as Art" and will focus on the works of artist, Jeff Decker. Also unveiled was the new exhibit logo, created by the innovative minds at Hot Leathers.
Daytona Beach Bike Week also served as the official launching pad for Hot Leathers’ fundraising partnership with Soldiers’ Angels and raised almost $700. Continuing in its rich tradition of charitable giving and U.S. military support, Hot Leathers teamed with Soldiers’ Angels to ensure that no soldier goes unloved or unappreciated. As a result of their partnership, Hot Leathers will be giving rally-goers across the country the opportunity to show their support for U.S. troops by donating to Soldiers’ Angels in $1, $5, and $10 increments, as well as the chance to send personalized messages directly to the troops.
Hot Leathers also chose Daytona Beach Bike Week as the culmination to their online model search. Having virtually combed the nation for models that depict the spirit of Hot Leathers, the lucky winners got to experience their very own photo shoot on the beaches of Daytona during Bike Week. Stay tuned, the winners’ photos will soon be featured in national Hot Leathers media.
