In the age of technology there is a new ” school” open for attendance. The first issue is killer and has some guys we all know.
“Burl School Magazine is a new online,that is working towards print publication, resource for the custom/hand built bike community. Our format also includes old school skateboarding, hot rods/kustoms, & punkrock. We are about the DIY lifestyle, & not about a scene”, states The Outlaw,the managing editor.
“The site is up & functional, with a forum that we hope will fill up quickly with a devoted readership blogging & posting regularly. Our mission is to display in high quality photo & blunt dialog, the world through the eyes of those not afraid to live life to the fullest. When we set out to cover bikes we knew we wanted to do it from a builder’s perspective, as well as a rider’s perspective.There is a wealth of magazine coverage out there dealing with alot of similar subject matter, but we are not in any way attempting to re-hash any of what you have already seen.
When you read Burl school, our goal is that you would have the same feeling you would hanging out & talking with your bro’s at a show, or event, a real air of legitimacy.
By the way, the name comes from the word “Burly”, as in the school of the burly, ya’ know, before emorock, & dentist/bikers, etc. We are totally down to lend our support to any & all who are willing to lend their support to us,that’s what it’s all about, & we look forward to being here for the long run…”
