As we all know, the motorcycle community is one of the most caring, kind, and generous communities on the planet. This weekend, a group of around 100 motorcycle lovers came together this weekend in Royal Palm Florida to prove that once again. The fourth Colin’s Memorial Ride, A Ride To Benefit B Colin Strong, A Childhood Cancer and Autism Research foundation took place on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
Bikers came from all over, as far away as Cape Cod, AM, to enjoy some time on two wheels and do a little good for future generations while they were at it. Despite a little rain in the morning, which didn’t stop any of the riders, B Colin Strong raised $30,000 for the cause. Half of which will go to the Colin Woodyshek Technology Program at Palm Beach School for Autism while the other half goes to Pediatric Oncology Support at Palm Beach Children’s Hospital
It’s a beautiful thing when a parent can create such an outstanding tribute to a child gone too soon, which is exactly what the Woodyshek family did after they lost their beautiful son Colin to a rare form of cancer in 2017. We commend them for finding the strength to use their loss to make a difference for future generations with the help of a few friends.
