This one day annual event is in honor of the late great bike builder Don Watkins of Kalkaska’s Watkins Boyz. The festival was started in 2007 by the Watkins Family to continue to raise funding for the Don Watkins Memorial Scholarship and Tools of the Trade Scholarship. It will take place on Saturday June 13th at Kiootees Bar in Kalkaska MI.
This all day event is jam packed full of activities for everyone including a pig roast, bike/hotrod show, hot body contest with the 1st place winner taking home a cash prize, an auction with a variety of bike, hotrod, and racing memorabilia, and music throughout the day from well known bands, topping off the night with a bad ass show from the nationally known band dirty Americans All this hosted by the hilarious duo of Omelette and Finster from KLT morning radio!
Rustic camping is available both Friday and Saturday night for $10/sight. Tickets will be sold in advance for $10.00 and also at the door the day of the event for $15.00. If you would like to purchase tickets in advance, drop us a message and we will be in contact with you.
