I had the opportunity to go on a small 70 mile ride with the guys from Biltwell and Duane over the weekend. On our way there, there was a accident that had the traffic at a stand still but here in California you can split lanes. Coming from New Hampshire, where this isn’t allowed, it has always frightened me when a bike comes flying between me and another car and I get walked doing 80. When done carefully it gives you a way to avoid traffic jams and possible over heating issues. If you are ever near the Inland Empire and are looking for a cool ride, check out the Biltwell blog. They always have something going on and know the best “off the beaten path rides” with great views.
