Yes, my brother Seth has brought this 76 FLH to the shop for us to get it up and running.
I am stoked, its the same year as my girl and can pass for her twin.
Now for the process of going over the machine,taking a good look at everything. To check it all out to be sure it is good to go.
I gave it the kerosene bath and started to make a list of things that will need done. This is just a short list so far. Hopefully just minor upkeep.
New battery, points,condenser,plugs wires a rebuild on the rear master cylinder, I also found some wiring that has to be soldered and shrink wrapped.
The Source Garage will get this up to par and running good so Seth can ride it. Seth says, that this winter it will get fresh paint! Which the plan for my bike is to get a new coat of paint this winter also.
I love old iron. Projects like this I can do all the time. Its a calling! Mailman.
