250 Years of Freedom. One Ride Across America.

In 2026, America will celebrate its 250th Anniversary. For a quarter of a millennium, this nation has been shaped by dreamers, explorers, builders, pioneers, innovators, and everyday people willing to take a chance on what might be waiting around the next bend. And while today’s headlines often focus on the things that divide us, we believe there’s still something powerful that brings Americans together: the open road. That’s why Cycle Source Magazine and Cycle Source TV are proud to announce America 250: Two Wheels, One Nation, a coast-to-coast motorcycle journey that will celebrate America’s 250th birthday the way motorcyclists have celebrated freedom for generations—by riding.
Beginning at the same place where so many American Stories start, at Ellis Island. Chris and Heather Callen will embark on an unforgettable cross-country adventure aboard a new 2026 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited. Along the way, they’ll travel thousands of miles through historic landmarks, iconic highways, small towns, big cities, and the places in between that make America unlike anywhere else on earth.
But this isn’t just another motorcycle trip. This is a search for the stories that still connect us. From the birthplace of American independence at the Liberty Bell to the roads that helped build the nation, America 250 will explore the people, places, traditions, and communities that continue to define the American experience. Through every mile, every conversation, and every stop along the journey, we’ll be looking beyond the noise and focusing on the freedom, adventure, and shared spirit that have united generations of Americans. The route will include some of the country’s most recognizable landmarks and historic destinations, connecting America’s past with its present while showcasing the incredible landscapes and roads that make motorcycle travel such a unique way to experience this nation.
For nearly thirty years, Cycle Source Magazine has traveled the country documenting motorcycle culture from the grassroots level. We’ve met builders, veterans, small business owners, artists, mechanics, and riders from every walk of life. One thing we’ve learned is that when people gather around motorcycles, the things that separate us tend to fade away. The road has a way of reminding us what matters.
America 250 is our opportunity to share that message on a national stage. The journey will be documented as an original documentary series streaming exclusively on Cycle Source TV beginning in Fall 2026. Viewers will follow the ride in real time through video updates, social media coverage, magazine features, behind-the-scenes content, and special reports from the road. The project will culminate in a feature documentary chronicling the entire adventure from the Liberty Bell to Hollywood.
Throughout the ride, we’ll highlight the people, places, and stories that make America worth exploring. We’ll visit historic locations, celebrate local communities, discover hidden gems, and experience the freedom that can only be found from the seat of a motorcycle. As America prepares to celebrate 250 years as a nation, we invite riders and non-riders alike to come along for the journey. Because America is more than headlines. It’s more than politics. It’s more than the things that divide us. It’s the freedom to explore. It’s the adventure waiting over the next horizon. It’s the people you’ll meet along the way. And sometimes, it’s as simple as two wheels, an open road, and the belief that the best of America is still out there waiting to be discovered.
