From the Liberty Bell to Hollywood, Chris and Heather Callen will ride a new 2026 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited across America, documenting the people, places, roads, and stories that define a nation celebrating its 250th year.
Why We’re Doing This
The world today is in a tough spot. Every day we’re told what should divide us. Politics, Gas prices, Social media. The endless noise of who is right and who is wrong. But from the seat of a motorcycle, America looks different. The open road doesn’t care how you vote. A small-town diner doesn’t ask where you’re from. A wide open stretch of highway doesn’t belong to one side or the other.
For nearly 250 years, America has been built by explorers, dreamers, builders, risk-takers, and people willing to see what’s over the next hill.
That’s the America we want to find our way back to. The America of freedom, of adventure. The America that still exists between the oceans, beyond the headlines, and around the next bend in the road.
So in celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, we’re setting out on a journey from the Liberty Bell to Hollywood aboard a new Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited. Not to focus on the things that divide us. But to rediscover the things that bring us together. The people, the places, the stories, the freedom. And the simple joy of exploring this incredible country on the back of a motorcycle.

THE BIKE: 2026 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited
For the entire America 250 journey, we’ll be riding a brand-new 2026 Harley-Davidson Road Glide Limited, putting one of Harley-Davidson’s most capable touring motorcycles through the kind of real-world test it was designed for. Over the course of more than 4,500 miles, we’ll travel from some of the nation’s most historic landmarks on the East Coast to the iconic destinations of the American West, experiencing everything from crowded city streets and endless stretches of interstate to winding mountain roads, open plains, and national parks. This won’t be a showroom review or a weekend ride—this is a true cross-country adventure that will showcase how the motorcycle performs day after day under the demands of long-distance travel.
The Road Glide Limited is built for riders who measure trips in states crossed rather than miles ridden. Equipped with Harley-Davidson’s renowned touring platform, a frame-mounted sharknose fairing, long-haul comfort features, generous luggage capacity, and the power of the Milwaukee-Eight engine, it offers everything needed to tackle a journey of this magnitude. Throughout the trip, the motorcycle will carry not only two riders but also the gear and supplies necessary for life on the road. As we trace America’s story from Ellis Island and the Liberty Bell to Route 66, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, the Golden Gate Bridge, and finally the Pacific Ocean at Santa Monica Pier, the Road Glide Limited becomes more than transportation—it becomes a key part of the story itself. This ride is an opportunity to experience the freedom, adventure, and spirit of exploration that have always defined both America and the Harley-Davidson lifestyle, all while seeing firsthand how a modern touring motorcycle handles one of the most iconic road trips imaginable.
