Worlds First Cyber Rally & Show Scheduled For This Weekend

The Motorcycle Community Comes Together To Raise Money & Share A Great Day.

April 6, 2020 – Pittsburgh, PA – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: With the effects of the Corona Virus shutting down everything that isn’t essential to daily life in the world, the annual motorcycle events have been canceled for the foreseeable future. Not only has this been a significant loss to the people who plan their yearly vacations around motorcycle entertainment and events, but for those who make their living running the shows and rallies, this has taken away their ability to put food on their tables. While the questions pile up and the stress of what will happen next builds, people need a break now more than ever.

To answer the call for community direct action, Cycle Source Magazine, has launched the world’s first-ever “Cyber Bike Show & Rally” under the heading “The Motorcycle Revival Tour, presented by Kirbys Law.” Starting on April 11 at noon PST, hosts from cycle Source Magazine’s “ShopTalk” and Choppertown will kick off what looks to be a six-hour live streaming program that will provide viewers everything that they would typically get from the national motorcycle rally experience. Starting with a national Emcee personality who will take them around the rally and introduce various acts including live bands, a motorcycle stunt show, and a burnout contest and on to rally craftsman that pinstripe and hand-make leather seats for custom bikes. All the while, fifty qualifiers for the bike show, selected through a two-week global submission process will come in live to do a live video walk around their bikes. The Cyber Bike show will be professionally judged, and winners will receive prizes from motorcycle apparel and parts manufacturers. Additionally, there will be an online voting component that will allow viewers to choose their favorite motorcycle, and crown a “People’s Choice” winner, who will get a $500 cash prize. There will be live “How-To Segments” through the Grease & Gears Garage with some great builders from around the country, and even a wet t-shirt contest. Viewers will be treated to live performances from the likes of Jasmine Cain, Black Smoke Sinners, The Charlie Brechtel Band, and Dallas Moore.

All of this is part of global outreach to help rally workers and entertainers who are out of work and on the sidelines right now. There will be a virtual tip jar mentioned throughout the day to encourage folks to donate as much or as little as they can. The link for that is here:

At the end of the show, all monies collected will be split up between all the performers (Musicians, Grease & Gears Garage, Craftsmen, etc). With any luck, we will exceed our goals and we can pass along some much-needed funds to other rally workers who didn’t have a chance to be part of this first show. This fund is being managed in conjunction with Sin Central Inc. A 501c3 with non-profit status from the state-federal governments. Sin Central is an organization that has been doing charity work in and around the motorcycle industry for years.

Please mark your calendars for April 11 for noon PST when the Cyber Rally goes live on the Cycle Source Facebook Page, Choppertown Facebook , Cycle Source Magazine YouTube, Twitch TV or Periscope. We ask that you share the program and any promos leading up to it to help this great cause gain as much of a global audience as it can.

ABOUT CYCLE SOURCE MAGAZINE: Cycle Source is a national media company serving the custom motorcycle world for the past 24 years. With a print magazine distributed on national newsstands, a weekly simulcast called “ShopTalk” and their virtual Grease & Gears Garage, they have an average monthly audience that is over a million viewers. At national rallies, the Cycle Source staff holds events and contests to promote the spirit of the motorcycle community, giving them a tremendous amount of experience in running a successful show. With most of their operations coming to a halt through the effects of the pandemic, they have decided that community outreach is the way they can best be of service in these difficult times.

ABOUT SIN CENTRAL IN: Sin Central Inc. is a 501c3 that focuses on “Resurrecting Hot Rods, Harleys and Hellions”. It is the umbrella for a family of ventures that work together to put people and resources in positions where they can partner with God in the lives of those in need.

Funding for Sin Central Inc. comes through three revenue streams ; Sin Central Garage, Iowa Vapor Blasting and the public speaking work of Patrick Jansen.  These resources allow us to fund projects locally, regionally, nationally and internationally that offer assistance to those who are confronted with shelter and food insecurity. Sin Central Inc.’s goal for those who join with us in this work is that they might discover deep truths and life purpose by placing the needs of others before their own. Hot rods, motorcycles and hellions all being given new life one resurrection at a time. Matthew 25:40
