Hey folks, I’m Jason Cirrito (who?). I started up a t-shirt biz back in 2009 with the moniker Hijinx Apparel. After a bunch of years riding bikes and many more years of experience buying t-shirts, I figured I was overqualified to start up a biz. Needless to say, I was way under prepared. With some help of some of my riding buddies and my family, I was able to get Hijinx off the ground. We developed some t-shirt designs and launched our website in late 2009 (www.hijinxapparel.com). We predominately sell online but have started doing shows/rallies on the East Coast. Keep an eye out for us and swing by to say hi. You can also follow us on Instagram @HijinxApparel or Facebook. See you on he road!!

What would you like it to say on your tombstone?

Hopefully it won’t be for awhile, but maybe: Well, I guess it finally DID catch up to him! That would seem to be appropriate!

If you could choose your last meal, what would it consist of?

This one’s easy…a big ole rare steak with some wasabi mashed potatoes, Italian bread (see the last question for more info) and a nice stout beer, and maybe another stout!

If you could live someone else’s life for one year, who would it be and why?

This one is taking some thought… I’m gonna go with James Hetfield of Metallica. The guy’s got some cool cars and cool bikes which I’d have at my disposal. After the year, I’d hope that I’d be able to play the guitar like he does. It would be the gift that keeps on giving.

What Olympic sport would you like to compete in?

Well let’s suspend reality for a moment because my athletic ability stops at walking and chewing gum. I think competing in the luge would be pretty wild. I mean flying down a mountain on a tiny sled in an ice chute definitely seems insane. So I guess I’d say the luge, or maybe curling…okay, the luge or curling.

If you could hang out with someone famous for one day (dead or alive) who would it be?

I’d love to be able to hang with Johnny Cash for sure, but I think if I can only pick one it’d be Ben Franklin. The man is a founding father of our great country and top notch inventor. I would definitely love the opportunity to sit down and hear firsthand how the country’s birth went down. History fascinates me, and having an opportunity to hear it live from someone who lived it would just be incredible. Not to mention he’s the guy that invented bifocals and is on the $100 bill.

What is something you like to do in your spare time?

Who has spare time? I need every second I have. Having said that, getting on the bike for a long, mind clearing ride is at the top of the list, along with just chilling out with the family

If you could only eat one kind of cereal for the rest of your life what would it be?

For the sake of being completely honest, I’m not a huge cereal guy. Pop Tarts are where it’s at, but if I had to pick one, I think I’d go with Frosted Flakes. The mascot is a tiger telling you, “They’re gggrrrreat!” What else do you need?

If you had to live in another country where would you go?

The only way that’s happening is if they throw me out, which might be possible. I love this country. If I had to pack my bags and go, I think I’d just head south of the border down to Mexico. I love the food, the weather and there is definitely a cool vibe. Plus, I’m dying to do the El Diablo Run!

What’s one thing that you want to do before you die?

Might sound a bit cliché, but I’d like to get out there and see more of the world. Ship the bike over to Europe and just take a long trip. I gotta believe riding through the Alps has got to be absolutely insane, not to mention all the history over there. Experiencing it all on 2 wheels would be incredible.

What’s something that most people don’t know about you?

I am addicted to bread. I can sit down and devour a loaf of any really good Italian bread. Not terribly interesting or cool, but most people don’t know it — and probably could care less!
