This week hasn’t had many updates. I guess everyone is creating their new products and will send them out to me next week.So I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you a little story.
Last week was the first " Bike Night" in sunny California. We have been attending the car show that has been going on bi- weekly, and takes place in a shopping mall parking lot. If you are lucky you see one cop driving thru to make sure all is well with the car enthusiasts. A few of us would take our rides and the spokesperson of the event thought it would be great to get our own night.
Our night, on a Wednesday, started around six and we pulled in and were met with four cops cars, one motorcycle cop and a K9 unit!!!!!!!!! At one time during the night we had all of them and two more cop cars show up. What in the hell did they think we were going to do? Burn down the shopping mall? Seriously folks, the bike night is where hard working men and woman try to break up the work week by hanging out with friends and talking about each other rides. There are no colors here, no criminals that I know of so why does there need to be such a law enforcement presence.
Even the spokesperson was a little frightened by all of the force. Welcome to the world of BIKERS sister. The land of being judged for what you are vs. who you are. They talk about equality over and over but when does it begin and with who?
