PLUS there are going to be 4 staff photographers checking out all of the other killer rides to feature! So get your ride cleaned up and ride it on it to the Cycle Source ride in show Saturday July 28th registration begins at 8am and ends at 1pm sharp.

That isn’t the only reason for you to head on out! I give you a few more.

Saturday July 28th Cycle Source Magazine will be throwing their 12th annual Custom Chopper Show in conjunction with the Mt. Fest Rally in Morgantown West Virginia. This is the big one, over a decade in awarding the hottest custom bikes from all over the Eastern United States and this year we will be stepping it up. In addition to the prizes and 57 trophies in 25 separate classes, we are giving away 2 custom crafted Champion Leather Kidney Belts. These incredible pieces of motorcycle art, made by our own staff member Lemme, will be awarded for both the Professional and Open Best Of Show winners.  Of course the standard handmade trophies from Baas Metal Craft will be awarded for all first place radical class finishers.

The judging is carried out by teams of judges that look over every square inch of the machine with experience and an eye for detail. This IS a ride in show so no points will be subtracted for road grime, but extra points will be given for hand crafted parts.   This all goes down right in the middle of the Custom builder showcase located inside the big building at Mylan Park. Come and see some of the nation’s hottest young builders and their latest creations beginning Thursday July 26th featuring:

Bare Knuckle Choppers, Chop Docs, Kustoms Inc, Doomtown, Turner Cycles, Justified Defiance, BareBones Leather , ParaDice Paint, Led Sled Customs, Sully’s, Faith Forgotten Choppers, DeVille Cycles, MotoRod, Whiskey Built, Pandemonium Custom Choppers, and back by popular demand, Indian Larry Motorcycles featuring some of the most significant builds of Larry himself. See the Rat Fink, The Wild Child and the Chain of mystery up close and in person along with some of the latest builds from the Brooklyn based shop that’s still kicking ass and turning out killer bikes today.

And there’s More than just the Chopper Show…..

Acclaimed Artist “Seth Leibowitz” will be on hand with many of the paintings he has produced for Cycle Source Magazine like the ones of Indian Larry, Johnny Chop and Ken Conte at the Salt Flats. Watch Seth as he works on his latest creation.  Sara Liberte will also join the crew this year with artwork and information on her Garage Girls program. Rally TV will be filming live for a full report on Mt. Fest so stop by and get in the camera.

The Annual Cycle Source “Run Through The Hills” on Friday July 27th starts at Noon from Archie’s and takes riders through some of the most scenic roadways in West Virginia. For more info on the ride contact Matt Reel at wvfirerider@hotmail.com

New this year will be the Needle Art Expo in the same building as the Custom Builder Showcase. It promises a big selection of tattoo artists from around the country, whizzing away at their craft the entire weekend.

Chris “Wildman” Callen’s birthday party is on Saturday night, at a top secret location of course,  John Kay and Steppenwolf are taking the stage with headliner Trace Adkins and several other music acts. It’s all happening at Mylan Park in Morgantown, WV for the Mountain Fest Motorcycle Rally..
