Sturgis Museum Unveils Exciting Lineup of First-Ever Events

STURGIS, SD – As the 85th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally preparation kicks into high gear, the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum is introducing a full slate of brand-new events. This year promises to be one for the history books. From celebrating women in motorcycling to giving fans access to industry legends, the Museum is the place to be during Rally Week.

Visitors can look forward to an exciting week filled with engaging activities and memorable experiences.

Pearl’s Jam Will Celebrate Women Riders (Monday, August 4): At the heart of the week is the debut of Pearl’s Jam, a groundbreaking, all-day celebration of women in motorcycling. Named in honor of Pearl Hoel—wife of Rally founder Pappy Hoel and a key figure in Sturgis history—Pearl’s Jam will be the first female-focused event of Rally Week.

Featuring appearances by legendary riders, educational seminars, live music, and exclusive art displays, the day promises to be a powerful tribute to the women who ride and the ones who paved the way for all types of motorcyclists.

Full details of the all-day event will be announced in July.

2025 Hall of Fame Inductees to Gather on Main Street (Thursday, August 7): The Museum is launching the first-ever Hall of Fame Inductee Meet & Greet, giving visitors a chance to connect face-to-face with the newly inducted Class of 2025.

Scheduled for Thursday morning of Rally Week, this casual event includes complimentary coffee and donuts. It offers a rare opportunity to share stories and take photos with the latest additions to the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum’s Hall of Fame.

As always, the annual Hall of Fame Induction Breakfast will take place during the rally, this year on Wednesday, August 6.

The Class of 2025 includes nine notable contributors to the powersports industry and motorcycle culture. Tickets to the Wednesday morning breakfast sold out quickly, prompting the creation of the HOF Inductee Meet and Greet.

Museum Raffle Offers Priceless Prizes (Through August 10): Another major first for 2025 is the launch of the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Raffle, a fundraising effort featuring thousands of dollars in prizes.

Tickets are available for $10 at the Museum or on the Museum’s website. Winners will be announced on Sunday, August 10.

The first prize is an original Danial James fine art piece created specifically to celebrate the 85th Anniversary of the Sturgis Rally, valued at over $25,000.

Additional prizes include a fully polished and diamond-cut 124-inch S&S engine worth more than $12,500, a Dave Mann print, more Danial James artwork, and exclusive Museum merchandise.

Excitement is building for the Rally with these new offerings! The Museum is eager to welcome attendees and make this year’s events unforgettable.

“The new activities, along with the annual Hall of Fame Induction breakfast, will make the 85th Rally even more special,” said Heidi Haro, Executive Director of the Museum. “We want the Museum to be a destination for rally attendees every year.”
