In today’s business world loyalty and longevity are not common words one often finds when referencing a client. This holds true even in the motorcycle industry, where in the daily lives of most of us loyalty is key to long term relationships and trust. We see friends in the business come and go on the tides of change like with most ever changing business models however over the years Cycle Source has been fortunate to have been blessed with the friendship, support and partnership of Steel City Harley- Davidson out of Washington, PA. Steel City Harley Davidson opened their doors in 2005, just one year before Cycle Source hit the national newsstand and was still just a local rag on newsprint, and they’ve stayed with us since their day 1. In the twentyyear history of this magazine you will read time and time again about the values and traditions exhibited by the people in the motorcycle culture.

For us the roots of that begin with the people that we grew up with in this area. Let me explain. The entire week long 10th anniversary celebration of Steel City Harley Davidson was a party to be remembered that included appearances by Billy Lane and Jeff Cochran, the legendary Razorbacks and Big House Pete tour up the stage, Jack Schit hosted and we held a killer bike show. But the most amazing part of it came at the very end, when the owners of this impressive dealership showed their gratitude to the only General Manager that Steel City Harley Davidson has ever known by giving, yes giving Pokey Weiss a full partnership in the business that he worked so hard to not only maintain but grow over his decade of service. Now in a world where money is king and everyone steps on the next guy to get ahead may be surprising to you but in little steel towns peppered across western Pennsylvania this is the type of true heart and loyalty we enjoy. We congratulate Pokey and tip our hats to Zip who unselfishly showed his gratitude to his right hand man. These are the kind of people Cycle Source is proud to call our friends and we are thankful that they have had the same faith in us as we have had in them since the beginning.
