Smoke Out Rally 14 Event Recap

The Smoke Out is known for non-stop action. -The Smoke Out 14 rally is a 3-ring chopper circus. At any given time there is at least 3 things going on. While Big House Pete was opening for Rebel Son, Monstercraftsman was showcasing grinding techniques and the dragstrip was hosting ’50’s style mano a mano racing.

Big House Pete is an original rock band that delivers a radical twist of comedy, aggression and blues throughout their show. It embeds some of their catch lines in your head – whether you want it or not.

It’s a treat to see the slimed down Chris Callen 2.0 up on stage playing with BHP and enjoying life. Callen is the Renaissance man in the choppa industry and shows his talent with his painting, music and his national distributed Cycle Source Magazine.

The Smoke Out music line up included Big House Pete, Rebel Son, Jasmine Cain, Little Ozzy and Cutthroat Shamrock. The cool thing about the Smoke Out is the music hits the right cord with the crowd and draws the chopper jockeys from around the facility.

The Wet T-Shirt – What would a biker rally be without a Wet T-shirt contest? As per usual, the Smoke Out does it a little differently. It started out like most contests but in very little time shirts and bottoms seemed to be in short supply. Good news, the boyz didn’t seem to mind.

Mini Bike Racing – O’Malleys Speed n’ Kustom produced the SO 14 Mini Bike. People get crazy, work on their costumes and build their very own little lawnmower powered scooters to win the coveted first prize. The mini-bike races are one of the key highlights of the weekend (remember: you must be in a superhero costume to race). The weather conditions were rainy and then they weren’t. That didn’t slow down the racers as they competed in wet and dry conditions.
