Sunday night on ShopTalk Michael Lichter announced the re-vamped plans for his Motorcycles as Art Exhibition “Heavy Mettle – Motorcycles and Art with Moxie” located inside the Event Center at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. The show, which was originally set to showcase new, built for this show motorcycles from some of the Industry greats, now has the added tag line of “Unlocked Edition” and will be a two year installment. This year the builders will be bringing a previous build for the show and their new build will be showcased next year. These changes were made due to shut downs and parts availability world wide.
Michael showed us a few of his photos that will be on display during the show, this year his images will focus on his 40 years of photographing the Sturgis Rally.
Builders Mondo, Rick Fairless, Russell Mitchell and Kiwi Mike joined in the live discussion and talked a little about their history and the industry in general.
