ROCKERBOX 2012
This years Rockerbox Motofest and Street Party was the biggest yet!
With the attendance growing every year since its inception 10 years ago, this premiere Wisconsin motorcycle event is an option to those who don’t want to be lost in a sea of cookie cutter bikes.
Tim Schneider of The Shop and Scott Johnson of The Fuel Cafe started this one day show all those years ago and I happened to be in attendance, and from humble beginnings come great things.
There is a official bike show as well as just the bikes parked on the street, the categories range from best cafe, choppers,American,British,European,Japanese best of show and the coveted cool as fuck award. Last years attendance saw 2000+ bikes and 7000-8000 people long way from the 100 or so local guys from the first one.
But the spirit is still the same a lot of good folks getting together for a good time and to see some beautiful bikes and help out the Steel Shoe Fund for down and hurt racers.
So gawk at the photos and if you like what you see check out the scene in person the first sat in Aug 2013 on Center St. in the river west neighborhood of Milwaukee.
