Industry Heavy Hitters To Judge In Motion!

November 2nd – 5th, 2017 will be the first offering of a brand new type of show called In Motion at the Lone Star Rally in Galveston, TX.  14 builders from across the United States have been invited to create a one of a kind custom motorcycle that not only exemplifies their ability as an artist but proves their professionalism and level of craftsmanship. You see, this motorcycle show starts with bikes that must perform a shakedown ride to be eligible for the vote. At the end the winner will walk away with a $10,000 prize so you can imagine the stakes being this high, they are all coming to win.

The only way to fairly judge builders at this level of the game is to come top with a system that in the end is beyond reproach. We call it the 20-40-40 system. Twenty percent of the vote will be peer-based judging from the builders themselves. Forty percent of that vote will come from members of the trades; these are welders, fabricators, painters, and machinists that can judge something on the merit of how it was made. For these five spots we have:

1)       Clinton Wallace (Welder & Machinist, Streamline Production Services)

2)      Eric Scott Vaughn (Welder & Machinist, Destroyer Garage

3)      Danger Dan (Mechanic)

4)      Scott Hoepker – (Paint & Finishes, Chemical Candy Customs)

5)      Mike Posso (Machinist & Fabricator, Acu-Fab Texas)

Finally, the last forty percent of the vote will be from an Industry Panel, made up of members of the motorcycle industry from all ends of the spectrum. They are:

1) Dave Perewitz – Cycle-Fab

2) Bob Kay – Kustom Kulture

3) Doug Asermely – Sick Boy

4) Jay Allen – Jay Allen Racing

5) Pauly White – JP Cycles

The winner will be announced on Sunday, November 8th on Facebook Live from The Lone Star Rally’s main stage at Sangerfest Park. Tune in at 1:30 pm Central Time and see who takes the $10k and the title of best in the business for 2017!
