We would like to welcome Grail and the Greasebag Jamboree to the blog!!!!!
On June 13th in Laconia, NH – for the 3rd year in a row – the Greasebag Jamboree bike show and swap meet will throw up it’s flag for all the do-it-yourself, grass roots motorcycle builders and wave a giant middle finger into the face of the standard Laconia Bike Week scene. We are the loud and obnoxious throwback to days past when owning a bike meant working on your bike. We would rather dig through bins of greasy parts than order the latest bolt on from the mega-catalogs. We’d rather talk shop than browse racks of t-shirts and chaps. We are greasy, grimy, wrench loving motherfuckers who love home-built bikes of all kinds – from choppers to café racers to restos. We are grimy, wrench loving grease monkeys who love home-built bikes of all kinds – from choppers to café racers to vintage classics. We dig bikes because of their character – not their price tag. If you’re down with that, you’re down with us, and we hope you join us on June 13th.

Bike Show
No Categories. No people’s choice. No bullshit.
10 Winners, Plus 1 Special Prize
Our favorite bikes out of the entire bunch walk home with the glory.
All winners get a custom engraved plaque – no cheap ass plastic gold trophies here bub.
Vendor Space
In order to make it affordable for individuals and small businesses we continue the tradition of offering free vendor space to those who want to sell parts & bikes. Whether you’re a garage builder with a private stash , a custom fabrication shop or anyone in between – if you’ve got parts to sell, no matter how many or how few, we’d like to see you at the Greasebag. It’s free, what do you have to lose. We have a crowd that is on the hunt for parts – they’re looking for the missing piece in their build, or just another cool part to add to their stash – this is not the typical crowd looking for t-shirts and chaps.
Sponsorship Opportunities
With free admission & vendor space, our sponsors are really key in making the Greasebag possible and we are extremely grateful for all of their support. The funds generated from Sponsorship go directly into paying for all the expenses associated with putting on the show. If you’d like to help us out and be part of the Greasebag, we have two Sponsorship opportunities available:
1. Raffle sponsorship
You donate a prize for us to raffle off during the show. Parts are a big hit, so are custom pieces. Hefty discounts on services (paint/powdercoating/etc) also go over well and you can never go wrong with t-shirts or other gear. Last years’ raffle was a huge hit – we had things like a hand tooled leather seat & saddlebag, a custom oil bag, a custom paint job, grips, helmets, more t-shirts than I could count and a ton more. All in all, we gave away over $3000 worth of swag, and everyone loved it. This year we want to make it bigger and better. Here’s what you get in return
1) Your logo & a link back to your website for an entire year on greasebag.com
2) A blog post about the swag you donated, along with a photo and a link back to your site on bother knucklebusterinc.com and greasebag.com
3. Shout out and mad props over the P.A during the show.
4. Distribution of your marketing materials at the show. We’ll have a table set up with business cards, stickers, catlogs, flyers, etc… of all our sponsors. You supply the materials, we’ll put them out there. Stickers are particularly popular.
2. Bike Show Sponsorship
We give away 10 awards for the bike show. There are no categories, no peoples choice – just the 10 best bikes walk away with some glory. Trophy sponsors get everything raffle sponsors do, plus their business name and website engraved on the award plaque. Sponsoring an award will cost you $50.
If you’re interested in one of our sponsorship opportunities, contact Grail at grail21@gmail.com or at 978-590-3412. Have a creative sponsorship idea? Drop us a line and let us know.
