Yeah, Yeah, so it’s been years since we’ve been in Laconia, but we still know what’s cool there so where meeting up with our readers, local Chopper Jockies, gypsy nuts and gearheads to ride the world famous Kancamagus.
WHAT? Stop the presses, you never rode the infamous Kanc? The Kancamagus Scenic Byway (Rt. 112) is a 28 mile road through the heart of the White Mountains National Forest that climbs to nearly 3000 ft. The highway stretches from RT 16 Conway, New Hampshire to I-93 North Woodstock, which passes through Franconia Notch State Park. It’s as rich in the local history as it is in beauty and should be on your list of must do rides.
So here’s the deal, we meet Saturday June 11th at the Broken Spoke from 10 am till Noon. Kickstands up at noon for a good hundred mile day. We’ll be bringing the “Rally TV” film crew with us and riders are guaranteed their faces to be all over that and in the pages of Cycle Source for this first ever North Eastern Readers Ride.
After the ride we’ll circle back to the Spoke for some good times and music at the Worlds Biggest Biker Bar. So come on man, let’s get to it, we’ll see you at Weirs!!!!
