Flattus Maximus guitarist of GWAR……

From Full Throttle Rock our thoughts go out to the family of Cory Smoot AKA Flattus Maximus guitarist of GWAR. Cory was found dead Thursday morning November 3rd 2011 as the band was traveling to Canada for an upcoming show. According to AP Smoots age and cause of death

are unclear. If you have ever seen a GWAR show you know the

theatrics they give and Flattus Maximus with his giant shoulder pads of Dinosaur heads and red Cro-Magnon Skull will be up playing his guitar loud in Heaven with the rest of the recently passed metal gods.
