Born-Free 3 Vintage Chopper & Classic Cycle Show

BF3-PR-1

For the third year in a row the Born-Free Vintage Chopper and Classic Cycle show is growing! Because of overwhelming response to 2010’s Born-Free 2 which had over 2000 motorcycles and 5000 people on one city block in Signal Hill, California, the show has been moved from the Long Beach area to the east hills of Orange County, California. On June 25th, 2011 people from all over the world will converge at Oak Canyon Ranch (behind Irvine Lake in scenic Santiago Canyon, about 30 minutes from the 405 and 55 freeways near John Wayne Airport), for one day filled with old choppers, vintage bikes of all makes, stockers, retired racers, etc! This year’s event is still FREE to participate in or to attend, bring your friends or family. There will be bikes from all over the world, along with over 50 vendors, not to mention an invitational bike builder showcase, and someone will take home a full rebuilt 1946 Harley Knucklehead chopper for $25! For more details on the show including location, builders, vendors, camping, and the Knucklehead; please visit www.bornfreeshow.com, and don’t miss it!

Born-Free Bio:

BF3-Knuckle-PR Born-Free was started from a passion for vintage motorcycles and simply hanging with friends. Mike Davis (Born Loser) and Grant Peterson (Freedom Machinery & Acc) recognized that a gathering of old choppers and friends was not currently being organized properly in America, so in September of 2009 they set out to do just that. The site of the event was set for Orange California. The show went off better than expected, over 500 bikes, 1500 people, free food, drinks and a feel good vibe, Born-Free had arrived. The decision was made there must be a Born-Free 2 and this time around Mike and Grant enlisted the help of friends The Harpoon and Josh Conley to help do it bigger & better. The stage was set to bring more bikes and more friends to a city street in Signal Hill, California & do it all for FREE. Just in case there wasn’t already enough reasons to attend, the group decided to build a original 1950 Harley Panhead chopper to be given away at the show. Expectations were set high for a good time, but what happened on June 12th, 2010 blew everyone away. More than 2000 bikes and 5000 like minded individuals from around the globe enjoyed a completely free grass roots show. No one had imagined Born-Free could catch on this fast. Born-Free 3 promises to raise the bar once again with an insane venue (Oak Canyon Ranch) tucked back in the hills of Orange County’s secluded Silverado, California and an original 1946 Harley Knucklehead chopper will be given away to one lucky soul. Do not miss Born-Free 3 June 25, 2011. For more information on the Born-Free Classic Cycle and Vintage Chopper show go to www.bornfreeshow.com.
