Biker Build-off Between Friends

Photos By: Wes D

Last year Duane Ballard and Kutty Noteboom were scoping out an old issue of Street Chopper that featured a long dark chopper on its cover. The two men got to talking about how cool it would be to build one of these bikes today. So they both set out with different plans on building their own versions of this retro styled chopper.

Dino’s Bar held an unveiling this month and when Duane and Kutty pulled in many of the Artistry and Iron builders were there to see what they had come up with. Duane built a sick little rail with a Honda CB750 that he calls the Pink Taco while Kutty used a ’68 shovel on his Plum Smuggler.

Both bikes are incredible and in addition to seeing them in an upcoming issue of Street Chopper, Cycle Source will also have some goodies on them.

Thanks to the employees of Dino’s for helping put this together and especially to McGoo from Biltwell who arranged a free hour of free Pabst Blue Ribbon for everyone. Dino’s Bar is located at 11516 Las Vegas Blvd.South.
