Now politics aside, how can we ever hope that this car, made in Ohio, can ever be sold on a global market in any kind of competitive manner unless there is fair trade. China ignores US pleas for balanced trade, continues to drain the US economy and jobs. The quick question is then, “Why don’t we have tariffs to protect our industries?” and the answer is that our leaders and big business see that as unfair. It’s unfair to put a tax on products coming into this country from other countries that may not follow the same Environmental standards as we do, the same humanitarian standards as we do, the same quality in life for workers, the same attitude towards products that are imported into their country. There is no other point in this article other than to let you know that this is the shit they are pulling on us and will continue to pull unless we become aware and involved.
