After spending some time with Jimmy Lee And JC of Three Two Choppers while we we \re in Texas I have even more respect fro what these cats put out of their Dalas Based shop. Thye quickly taught me five or six things during the day we hung out tehre but probably the thuing they have become known best for on a global level is their “Original” Wishbone Spring Tube Kit that turns a DNA or Paughco Springer into a work of art. At $219 retail the cos tof what you get in the end result is almost not worth bringing up. Their finish is incredible wether you get it in the raw, powder or chrome, it’s striaght up perfection. We felt that a little install tech to show you how simple it is to use this product might be in order so here goes.
Screw new stainless steel spring rods into new wishbone spring tube.Use plenty of RED Loctite.
Use vice to clamp onto new spring rods. Spin spring tube to tighten spring rods. Use soft jaws to avoid scarring spring rods.
Place front end in vice. Protect finish from jaws.
Place front axle through rockers.
Place ratchet strap around axle to middle triple tree.
Use ratchet strap to compress springs.
