Progressive’s Grease and Gears Garage Heads to Leesburg Bikefest

Industry-leading builders and craftsmen to hold live demonstrations throughout the 2018 Edition of Leesburg Bikefest.

Pittsburgh, PA ?April 4, 2017

In 2016 Cycle Source Magazine launched a brand new type of rally entertainment, the Grease & Gears Garage. Over a six-day span, some two dozen individual builders from the custom motorcycle industry took the stage to present to onlookers the nuts and bolts of what they do. Segments on welding, suspension, frame building and working the tools in a fabrication shop we are all played out in front of the entire crowd at the Canal Street Square Stage but also the world audience carried through Facebook Live.

After successes at the Sturgis Rally, Republic of Texas Rally, and the Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows®, the Progressive Grease & Gears Garage will now be making its way to the 2018 Leesburg Bikefest. Rally-goers can see some of the top builders and artisans doing their thing, up close and personal while answering any questions about just how it’s done. These one to one and a half hour demonstrations scheduled daily throughout the weekend beginning Friday, April 27, through Sunday, April 29, 2018. Each performance will be interactive with time for a Q&A from the audiences, both on-site and Facebook Live via Cycle Source Magazine’s page. There will not be a bad seat in the house as monitors located on both sides of the stage will carry a live video feed and capture the up-close action.

Additional seminars and names are added to the lineup daily, which the final schedule will be available at The Progressive Chop Shop in Canal Street Square located directly across from the stage. If you or your company would like to participate in a demonstration, please contact Heather at cyclesourcemain@comcast.net.
