REFUEL YOUR SOUL Roland Sands Design Rider-Driven 2014 Collection

May 5, 2014 – Los Alamitos, CA – The 2014 RSD Riding Apparel Collection represents a stylish approach to
functional riding gear. From the classic waxed cotton Clarion coat and the riveted rocker-inspired Clash leather jacket to
the traditional biker styled “rifle” cowhide City jacket, the new Roland Sands Design Apparel collection is high end riding
gear at its finest. It is the constant struggle between functionality and aesthetics that gives the RSD riding apparel its
unique look and wearability on and off the bike.
Each piece has been crafted with protection and rider function as a priority, with technical elements such as pre-curved
sleeves, shoulder gussets and armor pockets are organically integrated into every piece in the 2014 collection. “But this is not
without a constant push to make products we love to wear on and off the bike,” claims racer-turned-designer Roland Sands.
“There’s nothing like jumping on your bike and hitting the road,” Sands says. “Life can get complicated at times and the
simple, but vital task of keeping yourself upright on two wheels has the effect of refueling your soul. It’s with this in mind
that we conceptualize, design and build our riding gear. Stitch by stitch, seam by seam, from hand-treated leather to
waxed cotton and denim, we layer and assemble our rider-driven apparel collection.”
