Teens chase down drunk driver that killed a motorcyclist……

I have a bittersweet story for 2012. Two young men in Denver apprehended a drunk driver after they saw a hit and run accident that ended up killing a motorcyclist. After the driver got a felony conviction Law Tigers gave the two boys a reward under their Law Tigers Hit and Run Reward. DENVER, COLO. (Jan. 19, 2012) — When Steven Sanchez and Jason Perez chased down a drunk driver who fled the scene of an accident last summer, they didn’t do it for a reward or recognition. However, because their actions led to the arrest and conviction of the Read More>>>

Internet Blackout Tomorrow the 18th

WordPress.org is officially joining the protest against Senate Bill 968: the Protect IP Act that is coming before the U.S. Senate next week. As I wrote in my post a week ago, if this bill is passed it will jeopardize internet freedom and shift the power of the independent web into the hands of corporations. We must stop it. On January 18, 2012 many sites around the web — from small personal blogs to internet institutions like Mozilla, Wikipedia, reddit, and I Can Has Cheezburger? – will be going dark in protest and to drive their visitors to sites Read More>>>

Two of Four.........

Okay, for part two, I’m first going to lay out the in’s and out’s of the education system so that you can see myriad of flaws in the system, and this is from fact. None of this is my opinion here. I’ll get to that at the end. Now, Education: Sir Ken Robinson, Education expert, lays it out like this: Countries the world over, are trying to reform their Education systems for two reasons: Economical and Cultural. Economically we are trying to figure out how to fit our children in their place in this world, which is a difficult task Read More>>>

San Diego man awarded $7.5 million for penis injury, An active duty noncommissioned Navy officer was awarded $7.5 million by an El Cajon jury in a settlement from an injury that shortened the man’s penis, permanently injuring him as a result of a motorcycle crash. The accident occurred when Matthew Wall, 23, collided with a shuttle van, causing the injury that would eventually shorten his penis by nearly one inch. Officials say the motorcycle accident occurred as he was turning left  when the shuttle truck turned in front of the Navy officer, causing his Harley-Davidson to crash into the moving Read More>>>

In Response to Lemme's "Survival Mode and the American Psyche"

Lemme’s essay on “Survival Mode and the American Psyche” may be one of the best written and concise collections of thought and revelation I have ever read. It’s funny that so many of these thoughts linger in your head for so long, and then when they are pieced together, they almost blow the cap off your skull. I have long desired the life of self-sustainability. I fully intend to realize that goal. Hopefully in the mountains of Wyoming, or hell, even here in good ole Missouri. I won’t be brewing my own Red Bull, or doing hand puppet presentations of Read More>>>

This is so uncalled for and we as “The People” need to do something…….

Well, I really try to stay away from politics and religion and so on, but this REALLY hit home to me. A little back story on me, I am a country girl at heart born and raised in a very small town. My father is a gunsmith and I was born and raised around guns. To respect them and know what they are to be used for from the time I was able to hold a gun. I am a “tomboy” as some would say,  When I see things like this it makes my blood boil. This is something that Read More>>>

Tell me what your thoughts are

The National Transportation Safety board stated Tuesday that there should be a ban on the use of ALL  cellphones and other portable electronic devices, except in emergencies while operating a motor vehicle. This was unanimously agreed to by the five-member board. If this were to be in affect it would apply to both hands-free and hand-held phones and would exceeds any existing state laws restricting texting and cellphone use behind the wheel. Tuesday’s recommendation, if adopted by states, would outlaw non-emergency phone calls and texting by operators of every vehicle on the road. It would apply to hands-free as well Read More>>>

True Stories From a Lonesome Vagrant..... -Part 2

I glanced back over my shoulder to see the two harpoon-like electrodes sink into his back, turning my nameless acquaintance into a statue. Stiff as a board. And he ate shit. The officers stun gun sent tens of thousands of volts of electricity coursing through his body. He’d been caught. The gig was up. My lungs were burning terribly bad, but after seeing this guy endure that sudden blast of electricity, I somehow gained speed. This was the first time I had stolen a cop car and it’s probably the last. But let me back up here. This mess all Read More>>>

Keep your surf boards strapped on tight…….

I’m preaching to the wrong crowd, but when I’m trying to think of something to write about, this subject just keeps eating away at my thick gray matter: Driving. Holy shit this makes my blood boil. I want to destroy something just thinking about it. Some of the best people I’ve ever met in my life are Iowa natives, so I’m not harping on the population, but rather the lifeless of the group. You know who I mean: The 9-5er with several large vehicle payments and an even larger house payment. They get their kicks by keeping their lawn greener Read More>>>

Where was the point…..

Where was the point where everything just completely fucking derailed? I’m sitting here observing this supposed “biker build-off” and I can’t seem to conjure up the words to properly explain how fucking ridiculous this is. It’s like having a motorcycle building competition facing off Paul Cox against Grant Imihara against any random shitty artist. Or Sloth. Rocky Road? No, build motorcycle. Baby Ruth?? They couldn’t have missed the point by any farther. These Tutles are a fucking embarrassment to the custom motorcycle industry. They are giving a black eye to us all. Do you know Lemme???

Most call me Cole Lemme, and most call my brother Chad. Many people usually want to know who it is that sits at the typewriter, writing that shit that comes out, and my brother, humble in that way, or better, refused to write about himself, himself. I know most people better than they know themselves, and I know about my brother more than most other folks, because hey, we’re brothers that actually love each other, albeit I can’t get a good as read on him as I can on most folks I randomly run into. Some Helpful tips for Motorcycle Insurance…….

When it comes to motorcycle insurance it can be somewhat difficult. There are some companies that don’t insure motorcycles at all. Then there are the companies that don’t insure custom or customized motorcycles. The amount of insurance you should have is the amount that the motorcycle is worth. There is a difference between standard motorcycle insurance and custom motorcycle insurance. What they mean by standard is a policy that is designed to cover street bikes, and it often only covers replacement costs, and loss of transportation. A good place to check the value of a street bike is Kelley Blue Read More>>>
