Cory was found dead Thursday morning November 3rd 2011 as the band was traveling to Canada for an upcoming show. According to AP Smoots age and cause of death are unclear. If you have ever seen a GWAR show you know the theatrics they give and Flattus Maximus with his giant shoulder pads of Dinosaur heads and red Cro-Magnon Skull will be up playing his guitar loud in Heaven with the rest of the recently passed metal gods. Ray has relocated to Arizona, where she will serve as Sucker Punch Sally’s in house artist. I had the chance to meet up with Bob And Lynn McCoy at the Good Guys Show last weekend. What a sweet couple! Bob McCoy is well known in the racing arena, starting with a career in San Diego, California driving jalopies in his teen years. He later went on to drive Midgets and then sprint cars before signing a contract to drive in the Indianapolis 500 in the late ’60s.
