Cycle Source Magazine, Coors and the Broken Spoke Saloon are proud to announce this year’s Next Generation Builders for Sturgis Bike Week 2010. Jason Stritenberger and D.J. Jenkin of Court House Customs, Larry Pierce of Garage Company Customs and Daniel Donley of Pandemonium Custom Choppers. “All of these guys represent the Next Generation movement, they all are focused, driven and are producing top of the line motorcycles and parts.” stated Chris Callen.

All three builders will be displaying a motorcycle that represents them and their company on stage at the Broken Spoke Saloon downtown location. You will be able to meet and talk with the builder throughout the rally week. It all gets kicked off with Limpnickie Night at the Downtown Broken Spoke Location from 10pm -? When the whole Limpnickie Lot will roll in to celebrate the achievement of this new blood.

Jason Stritenberger and D.J. Jenkin of Court House Customs are two long time friends who have known each other since grade school. In mid 2008 Court House Custom launched a new line of custom motorcycle parts designed and hand built by D.J. and Jason. In November 2008 CHC finally gained national recognition when the CHC Triumph was featured in Cycle Source Magazine after it won best of show in a Cycle Source Bike Show. In early 2009 Chris from Cycle Source offered CHC a spot as a advertiser in the Limpnickie Builders Manual. This enabled them to get their ever expanding product line into the hands of thousands of potential customers. D.J. and Jason continued to keep themselves in the spot light earning a 3rd Place win with the Glory Hole at the Easyrider Bike Show in Columbus in February 2009. Also, in that same month Jason attended CJ Allen’s engraving class, enabling them to add motorcycle engraving to their scope of services. After the win at the Easyrider Show, the boys traveled to the Horse Smokeout in North Carolina in May of 2009. The Smoke Out proved to be a successful venture when The Dirty Sanchez and The Glory Hole were both picked as 2 of the 10 winners. Throughout 2009 they continued to travel the country attending many motorcycle events and spreading the word about Court House Custom and the Limpnickie Lot. The future of CHC will be focused on offering continued service work from oil changes to engine building, expanding their line of quality custom motorcycle parts, building one-of-a-kind custom motorcycles and improving the efficiency of their powder coating processes .http://www.chcustom.com/

Larry Pierce opened Garage Company Customs in July 06. Larry grew up in Birmingham Al, riding dirt bikes and racing cars. After giving college a stab, he came full circle back to what he loves – bikes. Garage Co. Customs, located in Pelham Al, can do everything from full service to customs builds, and all the motor and machine work in between.

Their bikes have a vintage old-school feel, steering clear of any Easter egg paint or neon lights. The motorcycles are as different as the customers that buy them, no cookie-cutter shit here. They range from American V Twin to Jap and British. Larry’s main goal when opening the shop, other than eating, was to build kick ass bikes and parts that real people with real jobs could afford.

All this hard work is done by Larry and Spenser Thomason. Spenser is the shops fab guy and the resident photographer. After making it through one of the toughest years for the motorcycle industry in recent times, Larry Pierce and Garage Company Customs are ready to make a name for themselves. For more information on Larry and garage Company Customs, please go to http://garagecompanycustoms.com/

Daniel Donley is the owner and operator of Pandemonium Custom Choppers since 1994. From the beginning PCC has been his part time gig as well as holding down a full time job. Through perseverance and hard work Daniel’s day had finally came and he is now concentrating on PCC full time. He is producing top shelf bikes what have caught the attention of Chris Callen during the past three years at Mountainfest. “This guy is solid. He‘s bike are always killer and he is a humble dude. No ego just straight forward but humble. An editor’s dream”.

The full service shop caters to Harley, V-twin and Metric line but if you talk to Daniel, “if it is a motorcycle, we can fix it”. They also operate a full paint shop, are producing a* top quality at a reasonable price parts line and creating a few builds that will make your head turn quickly for another peek. “I can’t thank Chris enough for his time, advice and friendship. To be considered as Limpnickie Lot member is huge. These guys are all great in their own way and I am honored to be apart. To be asked to be on the stage is mind-blowing and I think I am still is shock. To see more on Daniel and Panademonium Custom Choppers please go to http://www.pandemoniumc2.com

Be sure to check out the main stage at the Broken Spoke Saloon located at 905 Lazelle St In Sturgis, SD

The all-new 2010 Honda CRF250R carries on a long lineage of taking checkered flags. With an all new, from the “dirt-up” design, the new CRF205R stands to continue to build upon that legacy. That’s why Cosworth, a name synonymous with motorsport victories from the ranks of Formula One and other World Class Motorsports, is proud to announce the release of high compression forged racing pistons for the 2010 Honda CRF250R.

The new CRF250R Cosworth forged racing piston, like all Cosworth racing pistons, adopt the same critical design and construction methods applied in their world-class Formula One racing engines. Before each piston is ever produced, extraordinary care is taken to ensure that only the finest materials are used. Forged from proprietary 2618 high tensile strength alloy, Cosworth racing pistons maintain superior expansion rates, resulting in improved sealing and superior performance. Every facet of Cosworth piston designs have been thoroughly engineered to reduce detonation that occurs in some high performance engines, such as top ring-land scrolling that helps protect against scuffing and reduce crevice volume. The polished crown reduces carbon buildup, minimizing hotspots that can also lead to detonation.

Cosworth understands the ultra high RPM environment that motorcycle engines operate in and the effects it has on its pistons. That’s why Formula One derived technology is used throughout the CRF250R forged piston design. Elements such as the friction reducing, Xylan coated skirt profile and DLC coated pins are some of the same features used in the 18,000+ RPM Cosworth CA2010 Formula One Racing Engine.

With 50 years of world-class race and performance engine design and manufacturing experience; Cosworth’s intimate knowledge of the interaction between the piston and other engine components gives them the distinct advantage in piston design, resulting in the finest piston available.

To see the complete list of features of the 2010 Honda CRF250R forged racing pistons, and the entire Cosworth forged racing piston lineup, please visit cosworthperformance.com

About Cosworth

Cosworth leverages its performance technology expertise and globally recognized brand to provide high quality solutions for a growing customer base across diverse industries. Over the years Cosworth has developed in-depth knowledge of engines, electronics and a range of high performance technologies. This has been successfully used to supply some of the most successful motorsport teams and vehicle manufacturers. Our unprecedented success has fueled customer demand globally from diverse market sectors designing and developing technologies and components for aerospace, defense, energy, marine and automotive applications.

Gravesend Cycles, the motorcycle industry’s premier and high-end custom bike shop, is known for its superior engineering and one-of-a-kind bikes all of which exude their trademark craftsmanship. Created by champion bike builder, Copper Mike, Gravesend Cycles is proud to add a number of new additions to its burgeoning selection of specialty motorcycle parts including the Springer Front End Leg Conversion and Hide-Away Passenger Pegs.

The Springer Front End Leg Conversion was created specifically to replace the front leg on your DNA or Hard body Springer Front End. Its CNC radius cut lines offer a unique custom look along the top of the fork leg and CNC machined indents as well as front speed hole create an entirely different and much sleeker appearance. Installation of the Springer Front End Leg Conversion is very simple for a competent mechanic. The conversion comes in raw steel, chrome, copper, gold, brass or nickel plating and can also be special ordered in ball milled and twisted. Copper Mike’s Springer Front End Leg Conversion is available online at www.gravesendcycles.com starting at only $195.
Gravesend Cycles’ Hide-Away Passenger Pegs are also now available at www.gravesendcycles.com and can bolt onto custom motorcycle frames that have a cross seat support bar; a 1 ¾" dia tube may be drilled for a larger frame. The Hide-Away Passenger Pegs are 10 ¾" closed and 18" open with an overall diameter of 1". To create a clean and custom look, these pegs have the ability to slide out and lock when you have company as well as slide in and lock when you don’t. Gravesend Cycles’ Hide-Away Passenger Pegs are made of steel and sell for $195.
Gravesend Cycles is pure, handmade authenticity and performance. Accomplished bike builder, Copper Mike is the driving force behind this new and elite shop, drawing upon his years of bike building expertise and his lifelong quest to create the perfect ride. His new collection of unique, vintage and contemporary bikes fulfills a promise that Copper Mike made to himself many years ago: To design and build his own bikes just as he envisions them, piece by piece from the motors out, combining the best components and engineering with an undeniable look. I was lucky enough to get some of David Ryan’s time at the Long Beach Swap Meet and he showed me some of his killer parts that he is creating. I would like to welcome Seven Sins Choppers to our blog.

“Seven Sins Choppers, a new breed of motorcycle misfits from the polluted shores of Southern California; make custom motorcycle parts in a unique style, reminiscent of earlier times with a modern twist for bike builds of any style. Based in Long Beach, Ca. SSC is an American motorcycle shop collective for cycle enthusiast. Their interest lies in killer products, good business, and in the creative helping to bring functional art to the world of motorcycles. After several months tinkering in a garage, a lifetime of art and music, an early chemistry with motorcycles and years of the sounds of motorcycles seeping into their skulls (neighbors to the to the LBC Cycle Show); SSC surfaced in 2010 with the release of their “SSC Vintage Microphone Taillight” and the “SSC Skeleton Key Cap”.
