For those of you not in the know, the BMR is not a physical place on the map, it is Cycle Source magazine’s yearly motorcycle event, and is the brainchild of Chris Callen, editor of this magazine and all around super guy!

Most readers know we weren’t able to pull off the BMR last year which looked like a setback at first, but gave us some time to reflect on what made the BMR so great and how we can make it even better. This year, The Gypsy Tour, a ride through the most fearsome and scenic roads that West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland have to offer will begin on Tuesday, June 10th with a kickoff party that evening. Wednesday, June 11th and Thursday June 12th will consist of true biker camaraderie as we ride some wicked scenic highways, along with great food and entertainment including primitive camping. The Gypsy Tour will lead up to the two-day BMR event beginning on June 13th to be held in a secluded location in the mountains of Tucker County, West Virginia known as the County Farm.
The County Farm has everything we could want for the event including wide open space which gives us plenty of room for old school biker games like the ever popular tramp triathlon! There will be lots of excellent vendors, exceptional bands, local brews, hearty fare, and all the shenanigans that only the BMR can offer. And of course, not to be forgotten, the best bike show in the country! The locale coupled with the unlimited activities available on the exquisite Cheat River is a perfect place for reconnecting with one another and continuing the brotherhood that the BMR cultivates. After two days of biker greatness, the 15th holds time to break camp, get some grub and get back to the reality of life with plenty of memories in tow.
