2010’s Best Of Awards now in fifth year

It seems almost funny now that five years ago we started the “Year In Review” issue mostly out of winter boredom and the fact that we had run out of things to write about but it’s true. We had been on the national newsstands for a little over a year and the pace was ridiculous. The January issue came and we were short on material so we went back into the archives and did our first YIR.
Now five years later, the damn thing is one of the most popular issues we put out. The voting starts in early October with nominations, then is released to the general public for live voting. In the end, it is our readers who select the “Best Of Awards” but each year we are proud of the job they do. I guess the point of this small piece is just to say thank you to everyone who lets us do what we love and gives us the thumbs up for the way we do it. – Chris
