Name: Jeremy Pederson

Age: 32

Business: Relic Kustoms

Before Jeremy opened Relic Kustoms, he had restored and repaired quite a few bikes, did some car audio stuff, built a couple mini trucks, and reworked a 1951 Hudson 2 door Pacemaker. Relic Kustoms actually started around 2006, mostly as a custom pinstriping shop. Eventually, they began moving more into custom painting, kandy and metal flake work. Now, they are becoming more of a full-service shop and are doing screen printing and graphic design as well. That, and they painted the now somewhat famous “Ticket to Ride” for Chris Callen.

If you could only listen to one band or musician for the rest of your life, who would it be?

Metallica

If you had to spend 1 year in a jail cell, which person would be your cell mate and why: Rosie O’Donnell, Judge Judy, or Martha Stewart?

Holy Shit! Not sure what to say here; can I say Jennifer Aniston? Yeah, I choose Jennifer Aniston.

What food would you never give up?

My mom makes the best peanut butter pie, so that and her Christmas treats.

What is one thing you own right now that you can’t live without?

My Irish Setter work boots.

If you had to choose another occupation completely different from what you do now, what would it be?

A pilot.

If you could spend time anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Norway

Who is the one person you would like the opportunity to paint for?

My dad; I would love to find a 1940 Ford Coupe and build it just like the one he had back in the ‘60s.

If you could spend one hour with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Ed Roth. He brought so much to the Kustom Kulture scene, thru himself and the people around him like: Robert Williams, David Mann, Ed Newton, Von Franco, Jimmy C, and his kustom creations, that just one hour would not be enough. I would have to start by asking him to paint a Rat Fink for me.

What’s one thing that you want to do before you die?

I would love to fly in a P-51 Mustang.

What’s something that most people don’t know about you?

CSM-APRIL2013-1.pg84_Page_1_Image_0003

My dad wanted to name me Jeremiah, after the Robert Redford mountain man movie, Jeremiah Johnson. Mom wouldn’t have it, so I guess Jeremy was the compromise. And some of my friends call me Pedro.
