This month’s tech comes from trying to find an easier way to do something without having to call up a bunch of friends to help. Have you ever tried to load your bike yourself and find that you really can’t do it safely? Sure, you may get it done but it may have been a close call. Well, this little beauty that I’m going to show you will help resolve that issue. Usually when you put your baby in the trailer you have tie downs, soft straps and such to hold her in place so she doesn’t wander all over the trailer and get all scratched up. Well, this eliminates the need for straps, tie downs and soft straps, which is T totally backward to what any of us have ever been told. This is a totally unique concept and will do away with all of the bulky straps, chocks, and bolt on systems that may potentially cause damage to paint, chrome and anything else that your baby may rub against if you are not careful.

This systems is called the “Biker Bar” and it is made right here in the USA which is even better! This system will allow you to load and unload your baby in less than a minute with no help from anyone. No… Really….It is that easy! You won’t have to worry about your baby moving in the trailer even if you are climbing up the Dragons Tail with your trailer or a huge incline… it isn’t going to move.

A definite plus for this system is that it does not put any stress on your suspension what so ever! You know when you are tightening down straps and you have the front end maxed out on the shocks to make sure it isn’t going to move, well you don’t have that issue with this system. This is how it works, when you get off your bike, your bike’s suspension system remains slightly compressed, in doing so it exerts just the right amount of upward pressure to maintain rigid stability without stressing the suspension components. They say that when your bike is secured with a Biker Bar it then becomes an extension of the trailer’s suspension system, instead of amplifying it as an active bike suspension system would. Therefore letting your trailer suspension do the work.

Whether you install the Biker Bar in the shop or in the trailer, installation is very straightforward. You drill a couple of holes, bolt it down and mount the bar and you are good to go. The clamping bar is lined with neoprene clamps to prevent scratches. There is nothing that stays on the bike to use this system, it is always removed. When you don’t need the latching system in the trailer it is easy to unbolt from the trailer and you don’t have to crawl underneath to do so. The other cool thing is that you can even mount this in your garage to store your bike when you don’t need it in your trailer.

This system works with all Harley Davidson motorcycles with factory painted frames. It has six ¼” increments of vertical adjustment to accommodate different models. The system that we show here is for a Dyna Model and it was $380 shipped to us. That is about the average price. It was very simple to install and use. The Biker Bar makes loading and unloading pretty painless! Biker Bar is a Great Quality American Made Product that is Pandemonium Approved. Check out the website turnoverball. com if you would like to purchase one.
