Biker Belles® To Celebrate Women Riders At The Lodge at Deadwood

Buffalo Chip, SD –The Sturgis Buffalo Chip®’s Biker Belles event will celebrate women and the role they play in shaping the culture, sport, art and history of motorcycling on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at The Lodge at Deadwood. Created by the Buffalo Chip seven years ago to raise awareness of the passion, diversity and spirit of women in motorcycling and to raise funds for worthy local charities, the event has undergone some changes for 2015.

The festivities will include a catered lunch, inspiring speakers, a pampering at the Comfort Zone sponsored by Team Diva and servicing options at the Easy Eddie’s Tune-Up Tent. Attendees may also enter their ride in the unique bike show where entrants will share stories about their ride. Featured speaker, Hall of Fame recipient and Motor Maids matriarch, Gloria Struck will give an entertaining presentation and safety expert, Vicki Roberts-Sanfelipo, author of “A Crash Course for the Motorcyclist,” will offer safe riding tips. Special recognition will be made to Gloria Struck on the event of her 90th birthday.

Since its inception in 2009, Biker Belles has raised money for worthy charities, including the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame and Helping with Horsepower.
