Updated_version 9:19

Bolado Park Event Center, located in the beautiful countryside of San Benito County in the small town of Tres Pinos, is just a 10-minute drive south of downtown Hollister.  The Official Campground of the 2015 Hollister Freedom Rally features top musical performances for members of the general public and campground guests on The Patio Stage at the park. This year, guests at Bolado Park will be able to readily access food and beverage concessions, as well as an exclusive vendor providing a wide array of merchandise. The relaxing and fun evenings end with the complimentary showing of popular ‘biker’ movies in the newly renovated Pavilion.

The line-up of local bands is varied, offering great entertainment.  All of the performances will be supported by the local audio production of Danny Perales.  Musical entertainment is provided 3:30pm to 10pm with the following showcase:

July 3rd Band Lineup:

Change in the Weather – A local Hollister band performing all original music in the style southern rock, blues and Latin influences.

Jake Nielsen’s Triple Threat – A power blues trio from Aromas featuring Jake Nielsen on lead guitar and vocals. The band will first perform at the rally downtown and then make a reprise appearance for guests at Bolado Park.

Spinfarm – The band plays meaty power chords with no frills reminiscent of Van Halen, Stone Temple Pilots and Muse based on their home-grown Monterey County roots. This band also performs at the downtown and then brings their brand of rock and roll to Bolado Park.

July 4th Band Lineup:

Jeff and Juli Strametz – Representing Morgan Hill/Gilroy, this talented duo will entertain listeners with a wide array of acoustic rock music.

Kizmet – A local Hollister band featuring Zachary Freitas, Max Crist and Mathew Virak, their original and cover songs are in the style of rock, grunge, Americana and folk.

Miles Schon Band – This North Bay Area guitar virtuoso performs brilliant power rock and electric ukulele tunes with a top-notch back-up band. He hails from rock and roll royalty (Hint: his dad used to play with a guy named Carlos Santana and currently leads a band called Journey). You will see the band downtown followed by their performance at Bolado Park.

Surrounded by rolling hills and featuring beautiful oak trees throughout the grounds, the Event Center is a casual environment for tent and RV camping.  Full and partial hook-ups are available and the facility has showers, restrooms, and picnic areas with tables and BBQs.  The event center is located on Airline Highway, also referred to as Pinnacles Highway 25, which is a gateway to Pinnacles National Park.  The scenic drive to the park is a favorite for motorcycle enthusiasts.  Bolado Park Event Center is also the home to the San Benito County Fair.

Visit the Hollister Freedom Rally website for the special discounted Rally camping code and then call the reservation hotline at 831-628-3421 to guarantee your reservation in advance.   The non-camping guest admission fee, for the musical entertainment and access to concessions, is $10 per person.
