Bonus Class Entry For Women’s EnduroCross Racers

endurocross

Irvine, CA. (June 29th) – The female EnduroCross racers have dramatically improved their skills since the Women’s class was introduced in 2011. And several of the women’s class racers have expressed interest in competing in a second class to test their skills against the men. Starting with the next event in Sacramento, any rider entered in the Women’s class will be allowed to enter the Open Amateur or if they are 35 or older, the Vet 35+ class for FREE.

“We are happy to see so many top female racers putting a lot of effort into EnduroCross to elevate their skills” said Mike Karsting, VP of Events for TEN, the producers of EnduroCross. “So we are happy to provide a free entry to the ladies to allow them to elevate their skills by competing with the men”.

The 2015 Women’s EnduroCross championship is currently a very exciting battle with the top six riders separated by only nine points. The riders will be allowed to drop one score prior to the final event (the Ontario Finals cannot be dropped) so it looks like we are in for another exciting championship battle. Last year’s championship ended in a tie, with Lexi Pechout making a dramatic last lap pass to take the race win and championship.
