Cherokee Chapter Antique Motorcycle Club To Host Largest Public Display Of Vintage & Antique Motorcycles Ever In Texas

Cherokee Chapter Antique Motorcycle Club Concours d’Pate

On April 30 – May 3rd the Cherokee Pate Swap Meet and Concours d’Pate Bike Show Event will launch in Fort Worth TX at Texas Motor Speedway. The Pate Swap Meet is in its 43rd year and has over 11,000 booths spaces for all things transportation related. The Cherokee Chapter of the AMCA has purchased 380+ vending spaces and has leased them to motorcycle related vendors from across America. We also are attempting to have the largest display of Vintage and Classic Motorcycles in Texas and the Southern USA. This Show is advertised in our inaugural year as a Shine, Show, Share and Smile Show.

Our Concours d’Pate Bike Show Format will be classed as follows:

  • 1900 – 1919
  • 1920 – 1929
  • 1930 – 1939
  • 1940 – 1949
  • 1950 – 1959
  • 1960  – 1969
  • 1970 – 1979
  • 1980+
  • Competition Class – (Dirt Track, Road Race, On/ Off Road / Motocross, Drag Race, Speedway, Land Speed, Cannonball Endurance  etc…)
  • Period Modified Class – Period Modified, Bobbers, Cut Downs, Choppers etc….
  • Lightweight Class – under 249 cc. Scooters, Mini Bikes, Hummers etc….

Best of Class will be awarded in each Class by Peoples Votes, Best of Show will be awarded for overall most People Choice Votes. Awards will also be given by: National Motorcycle Museum; Wheels Through Time Museum; Just Kickers; Shadetree Fabrication; Carson Classic Motors; American Iron Magazine;Cycle Source Magazine ; Thunder Roads Magazine

Year one will be a simple People’s Choice Voting Format  to encourage owners of these rare machines to approach this event as a way to Share the History of these Wonderful Machines with the 120,000+ attendees who come to the Pate Swap Meet.

 

Plan to be part of this Historic First Year Event with the Cherokee Chapter at Pate Swap meet, Displaying to the Public or Vending. Other activities are being planned, back country roads for rides, Social Activities in RV area.
