This Place Is Trashed And I Can’t Think!

Ya know, a messy garage is a terrible thing, I have even written editorials on it in the past but it’s been so long since it was this bad that I had to revisit my thoughts on it again for the Monday Morning Editorial. When I came home from Sturgis and the entire office including my studio were flooded the most logical thing to do was pull everything out. Of course a ton of it got thrown away but the other ton that was kept now somehow made its way, of course, into my garage. While on one had this makes me grateful that so much of my stuff was not ruined but on the other hand, I CANT DO ANYTHING in the goddamned garage. Apparently I have collected way too much stuff to fit into a large room and any place you see a flat spot has a piece of art, some art tools, music instruments and buried deep underneath, bikes and tools. Now a clean garage can promote good mental health for any normal man and similarly a cluttered one can do the opposite. What I have going on here could actually drive someone to do very bad things. In any event, despite the good folks at Allstate doing nothing to cover our damage we should have the office back up by the next issue, which might keep me out of the nut house. There is little that I can do about it now but bitch (lucky you) since we are on deadline for the November Issue and also getting ready for the Indian Larry Block Party next weekend. For now, I sit in the middle of my pile of mess and stew as I smoke my morning cigarette and drink coffee, getting ready to tackle another day at Cycle Source Magazine! See ya next Monday.
