Gloves are they important?

glovesSo you are buying that new bike you have always wanted, the last thing on your mind is buying all of the necessary accessories. These accessories are just as important as mandatory items like a helmet. Some of the other little accessories are not considered mandatory gear, but they are just as important for safety and to the biker persona. 

Why do you need to wear gloves?

  1. Your hands can suffer severe damage if you are thrown from your bike.
  2. Riding in the winter and not having gloves you run the risk of not being able to operate the clutch or throttle due to your hands being cold.
  3. Riding in summer without gloves your hands slip from sweat and you don’t have grip or control of the handlebars.
  4. Gloves also protect a riders hands from getting blisters when going on the long rides.
  5. Just give you grip to be able to grip the handlebars with more control.

Don’t be a rookie and buy cycling gloves, the are not meant for motorcycle riding. Don’t buy your everyday driving gloves. Must remember that your hands are exposed to the elements at all times when on a motorcycle. So if the night air gets cold, then your hands are going to get cold quick. These types of gloves don’t offer the kind of protection needed to protect your hands from the cold or injury unlike the cheapest motorcycle gloves which is custom made specifically for riding.

Several different manufacturers have a wide array of gloves. Each manufacturer offers different protection, type of material, etc.

What to consider when buying gloves.

Will be leather or deer skin. There are also several gloves that have advanced insulating materials, waterproof, etc.

If you buy cheap gloves they will not last as long and won’t protect you as much as some of the others.

The important factors in a glove is protection, comfort and easiness in use and style. When you find that perfect glove they will be worth every dime you paid for them in the long run.
