You may know "Dapper"Dan Collins for his award winning hotrods or custom cars and bikes, and it’s no secret that he’s an accomplished artist having had shows all over the world and traveling regularly to attend shows in Japan and Europe. He’s been an integral part of the Low-Brow art and hot rod scene since it’s revival in the early 90’s, and has made quite a name for himself so far. He’s also a very talented Tattoo artist combining his love of cars, bikes, and everything underground into his style. Dan started tattooing at the tender age of 16, and finally opened his own appointment only shop, Victory Electric Tattoo, almost 7 years ago.
It has been regarded as one of the finest private studios on the west coast, and has given him a chance to work with his clients on a very personal basis, providing custom designs they will wear for the rest of their lives with pride. Now, Dapper Dan Collins has decided to open Victory Electric Tattoo Co. to the public, and is bringing in some of his friends to work with him like the world famous Bugs(London Bugs) who’s cubist tattoos and paintings have earned him critical acclaim. Also joining him will be Stanley Gunn, and Simon Watts from Australia, Both very talented artists with completely unique styles, and other guest artists will be joining the ranks on a regular basis, from all over the world. Helping him with this venture is a friend and fellow motorcycle enthusiast Grant Reynolds. The focus will still be on providing a personal experience, and custom designs, but now you don’t need to know the secret handshake to get an appointment. To celebrate the relaunch of the shop, Dan and Grant are hosting a party to show off the remodeled space.
