(This was taken off the Limpnickie Lot blog, too good not to share, Thanks Ashley!)

The question that so many have pondered, but NOONE has answered…UNTIL NOW!

It is hard to miss the stickers "Who the —- is Roadside Marty" plastered across the lot. From bikes, to helmets and displays, these stickers really got me to thinking. Who is he? So after some pretty ridiculous demands from his agent, we finally agreed, but the terms will remain private.

So without further delay…

A BIG Personality & the go to MC for some serious entertainment, Roadside Marty has made name for himself in the world of motorcycles. Best known for his uncensored & in your face comments at Daytona Bike Week’s Willies Old School Chopper Show…Marty is one to never disappoint! With manners of a true gentleman, he really does know how to treat a lady…don’t let him fool ya. He has a heart as big as his mouth & is as good as gold.

Ashley: Sign? Marty: Vagittarious

A: Boxers or Briefs: M: …..uhhhhh Boxers (He had to check)

A: Is it TRUE you got the name "Roadside" from getting duuurty on the side of the road? M: Yep…It was 1992 A: Wanna give her a shout out? Does she know she is the lucky lady? M: GOD BLESS HER!!! Yeah…she knows!

A: Who would you rather – Roseanne Barr or Courtney Love  M: You mean "Do" RIGHT? Roseanne Barr                  A: WHY?????!!  M: She likes em young and she may give me some money.

A: What is your DREAM BIKE? AND WHY? M: FXRT. They ride good and never mess up. Not the bike your building (knucklehead)? Naaaaa

A: What is your favorite LIMPNICKIE memory?  M: The day Willie G. Davidson showed up (The main guy at Harley Davidson)                                                                                                                                                                A: Did ya get to talk to him? Did HE know who Roadside was?  M: I did….HE did not act like it, but he has a rep to uphold…I understand, I do too.

A: How did you get started doing Willie’s Old School Chopper Show? When?  M: Uhhhh 2003ish…Me and Willie had been friends for a long time, I was at the show and he walked up and handed me a piece of paper with all the bikes listed and said "Go pick the winners". So I did. He just started laughing when I handed him my list…"Congratulations Marty your my new Judge." I had picked the same ones as him.

A: So when did the whole MC’n thing get going? M: Willie did not like getting up in front of the crowd and talking so he volunteered me! At first I was all nice, like… hey y’all I am going to announce the winners now. Willie kept saying get their attention. Noone, I mean NOONE WAS LISTENING! So finally I said….HEY YOU MOTHER—–ER YOU BETTER LISTEN TO ME! I AM TRYING TO GIVE YOU F—-RS YOUR D@MN TROPHEIES… then the rest is history.

A: Ohh my GOD! Were you nervous, do you still get nervous? M: YES! I was. I still get nervous, it is a good nervous, I  guess. I honestly don’t want to offend anyone when I am up there. It is all in good fun, ALL JOKES. I try to make fun of myself as much as possible and I know the people I am the hardest on….hopefully people are cool with it. "OHHHH…. and BEN JORDAN IS A SUPERSTAR!"

A: So where do you want to ride before ya die? M: EUROPE! I have been over seas, but never to just ride. Amsterdam! I want to travel all over Europe and Japan – MOONEYES! I want to go there too! I will go one day.

A: What do you think about where the motorcycle industry is today? M: The guys that are in it now are in it for the long haul. They enjoy it, they love riding and motorcycles, not the hype.

A: So you think it is better then previous years, do you think the economy weeded people out.. M: Yes, there were too many people in it for a quick buck. Everybody wanting to do "biker build-off" and be a star. People thought they were to good to associate with others. That is gone now. Anybody that is in to this can join, people that enjoy 2-wheels more than 4. You do not have to where a flat bill or rock a sleeve to be a part.. If you accept everyone, your good. COME ON!!

A: What is the worst injury you have ever gotten from a female while you were mc’n? M: A chick kicked me in the nuts. She did not win the tidy contest and was pissed at me. I wasn’t even a judge. Speaking of tiddy contests, I did have a chick say "THANK GOD I won, I can pay my probation Monday." A keeper!

A: So Marty, what do you do besides motorcycles? M: Honestly, I like going to the movies. I get popcorn and coke…I will go by myself to just get away. I just like it.

A: What is the last movie ya saw? You are a lone movie go-er? M: True Grit, I would see again. I would rather have someone with me, but yeah

A: 3-D MOVIES?!   M: Ahhhh, 3-D movie are like porn, I would rather be involved than just watch.

A: So how do you keep your STELLAR physique?  M: "WILD ANIMALISTIC MEANINGLESS SEX WITH MULTIPLE STRANGE WOMEN"

A: Does Roadside Marty have a last name? M: Davis – Martin Shane Davis that is my Christian given name…Listed on all FBI blotters, Airport Wanted Lists and Police Scanners

A: Where do you get your inspiration for bikes, who do ya look up to?   M: MY DAD! I build things mostly that I saw him building when I was growing up. I like Club bikes from the 60s and 70s. Honestly too, I really dig what Larry (Garage Co. Customs), Warren Jr. (JR Cycle Products), Bacon (not the breakfast meat) and those guys are doing. They have never built anything i did not love. I see the stuff they build and it gives me ideas. I try to take a bit from one and a bit from the other and make it my own.

A: Ok, HONESTLY, do you watch Sons of Anarchy and Do you enjoy it?  M: ABSOLUTELY!!!!!! I own seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. Someone told me one time it gave motorcycle guys a bad name…it is TV. Come on!! In Daytona a few years back Willie (Chopper Show), Chris Callen (Cycle Source) and myself were at the Willie’s the night before the show and I said "ok guys, gotta run Sons of Anarchy is coming on". To my surprise Willie was thinking the same thing! Chris Callen about stroked out, he could not believe we would watch such a thing. hah!

A: You were in a club, right? You get beat out?  M: Pistolaro. No, I was in good standing as a member. I have a good relationship with those guys. I would help them and they would help me.

A: Well…I guess it is time. Who is Roadside Marty?  M: ….Just somebody who got lucky. I went from staring at tidies from the crowd to staring at em up close on the stage.

A: Anything else ya want the public to know?  M: First, I want to thank my Mom and Dad! Thank you to Chris Callen for everything you have done for me, and All the guys at The Horse Mag. Also, I love all my brothers and sisters at the Lot. And EVERYONE else I have met on this road you have made an impression on me and I thank you for that. Motorcycle people are my kind of people!

Thank you Roadside! You ROCK!
